Our Nursery at a Glance
We are open from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM 51 weeks a year, 5 days a week (excluding bank holidays & Christmas). We take children from 6 weeks - 5 years old and our nursery is fully equipped with out of school club (4 years - 8 years old). Breakfast, cooked lunches, snacks & teas are available during their time that the children are here and we also have a playroom with modern equipment & extensive grounds with hard & soft play areas. There are full time, part time or flexible short sessions available to suit you. There are also a 2 year old government funded places (if parents are eligible) available from September 2013. Our nursery has also received a GOOD OFSTED REPORT.
We offer a warm, welcoming, friendly, safe & stimulating environment for your child. We have caring, qualified & experienced staff who are all passionate about delivering the EYFS framework through a variety of stimulating activities. Also we have specialised staff including SENCO & behaviour management specialist & operate a key worker system in every room. There is also a large, bright, safe, secure & well-equipped playrooms & a large secure garden with modern learning methods. We provide nutritious & fresh home-made food, prepared in our own kitchen. You can find us located centrally to Consett with excellent access to public transport with longer opening hours offering greater flexibility for parents. We have facilities for post-school pick-up from neighbouring schools. We also accepted childcare vouchers. There is free education for 2 year olds (if parents are eligible), all 3 & 4 year olds and 2 free visits, also affordable prices and 20% sibling discount.
